Lockheed AC-130A “Azrael” (Summer 2016)

The Lockheed AC-130 gunship concept is nothing new – engage the ground target with the precision fire from a safe distance. This weapon system includes the delivery platform (C-130 aircraft), sophisticated weapons package and extensive targeting suite. Various versions of AC-130 were raining fire from the sky during Vietnam War, various Cold War conflicts, Gulf War and Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
