Mine Exploring (Winter 2016)

Going for a trip with the camera to explore the underground is fun. Shooting will be difficult because of the low light, and you will have to be focusing on where you are going not what you are shooting (that is if you want to come out of the underground) :).

I really like mines, old underground, and urban decay. It gives you this mixture of old and new, working and decaying.

It is also a fight between man and nature: to get in and stay in the places where we to ment be in. Mines are the example of this battleground.

To survive in the underground we need fresh air, electricity and pumps to get the ground water out of the way.

All the hardware looks amaizing (when working) and has this aura of sci-fi movie. 🙂

protective paint is not a match for the humidity – corrosion is coming

The technology is constantly struggling with the forces of nature trying to reclaim the territory. The steel beams are beeing confronted with the force of corrosion.
