The Korean War is sometimes called by historians the “forgotten war” because our society was more focused on WWII and then on the conflict in Vietnam.

The cost of three years of war in Korea was immense! More than 35 thousand US Service members lost their lives, and the two Korean states are still technically in a quasi-state of war today.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial presents the unique picture of the war – you can see it on the faces of Soldiers.
